Day 24 of continuing recovery
If I am not survivor of a terrible accident…
And if I am not daughter of musicians…
And if I am not wife of massage therapist…
And if I am not sister of my sister…
And if I am not my job…
And if I am not my religion, race, ethnicity or gender…
And if I am not a food addict…
And if I am not my right leg…
And if I am not my body…
And if I am not my mind…
And if I am not my words, thoughts, beliefs, ideas nor dreams…
And if I am not my experience…
Then what am I?
All that’s left is love, thank you G-d.
I’m aiming for all that’s left.
Love & Light,
Valerie

Yes, I agree, love is what it’s all about. Sending love (and appreciation :)) to you in the moment…
Thanks, Melinda. We are off to Chicago tomorrow for a long weekend of festivities for a family wedding. Hope to see you soon. Love & Light, Valerie
Yippie,
there we are.
and what is left of me: in Austria
Hello Nicola!
May we make a date for us to visit you soon?
Love & Light, Valerie
the wonderful thing is that first this is a lovely poem, and second, you are not only love, but all of the above. m
Thank you, my mother.
Love & Light,
your daughter
Dear Mama,
It’s coming to me that, while I am aiming for the Absolute (shedding all conditioned identities), in the Practical World what you say is True. I am all of that… and it’s OK.
Love & Light,
Valerie
I think we are the sum of all our parts. The good and the bad. I also believe humans at their core are about love.
Hey Sissy!
On the whole, I think your sum is supremely beautiful. I shall call you Supreme Sissy.
And there are no words for the beauty of your core. Just deep appreciation.
Love & Light,
Big Sissy
Hi Louise,
As you can see from my reply to Mom, I am feeling blessed by your comments. This morning I needed to be reminded that what I am now as a whole person… integrating all of the above… is just fine.
Thank you.
Love & Light,
Valerie
